The update to FileMaker 12 compatibility to SafetyNet 1.3 yesterday also included the following features:

  • Added Amazon's SES to send backup e-mails (Removed SMTP settings)
  • Modified to allow encryption of files on the S3 server.
  • Modified to only attain a lock on .fp7, .fmp12, .fxl files, this will allow backup of non-FileMaker files that have read-only access for FileMaker Server.
