MirrorSync version 6.70 Released
360Works MirrorSync is the fastest and easiest synchronization tool for FileMaker. It allows everyday FileMaker users the power to synchronize their FileMaker Server files with FileMaker Pro, FileMaker Go, other FileMaker Servers, SQL databases, Salesforce, WordPress, and Amazon Web Services Databases (DynamoDB and Redshift). MirrorSync was awarded FileMaker Solution of the Year in previous years and the product continues to be known for its scalability, reliability, speed, and ease of use.
The newest version of MirrorSync supports FileMaker Server 2024, includes many improvements, and has several important bug fixes. We highly recommend that all users install this update.
Existing MirrorSync license holders with active maintenance can download this update at no charge using the button below. You can check your maintenance status on this page. If your maintenance plan has expired, contact support@360Works.com to obtain a new license.
If you do not own MirrorSync, you can get started for free with a single device running FileMaker Pro or Go using this link. Additional devices cost from $8 to $95 (one-time purchase) depending on quantity.
Free 30-day MirrorSync trials for server-to-server syncs are available upon request. Server-to-server pricing is $1,600 for a pair of FileMaker Servers, and options are available for other server types. Please contact us to request your free trial license today.
Here are a few notable improvements:
- Various improvements to work better with FileMaker Server 2024.
- You now have the ability to dynamically rename the local files created using the Download URL feature.
- Many improvements to the DynamoDB sync process, which now uses the AWS SDK version 2 library and fixes many issues. You can now sync with existing DynamoDB tables, instead of requiring them to be created by MirrorSync.
- Many improvements to the MirrorSync installer, including a new ability to run the installer silently with command line options.
- Fixed an issue that was preventing MirrorSync from running natively on Apple Silicon. Now runs much faster and more efficiently on M1, M2, and M3 chips.
- Fixed an issue where the license checking would inconsistently report that a license was expired, even when maintenance had been renewed.
- Fixed various issues with container field syncing, invalid characters in FileMaker container field names, initial syncs for version updates.
- Fixed an issue that could cause records to be deleted if a server-to-server sync had the spoke database manually restored from an old backup.
- Setting and un-setting auto-sync frequency now works much more reliably.
- Sync data backups are supposed to run every week; fixed a bug where they were running much more often, which slowed things down.
- Solved an infinite loop in the MirrorSync 6 worker script that could occur in unusual cases.
