Meet the crew.
Our FileMaker developers, consultants and programmers have been producing easy-to-use, customized solutions for our customers since 1996, and we are one of the first companies to be recognized by FileMaker Inc. as a FileMaker Certified Developer in 2004.

All about the people.
Jesse Barnum started his professional journey in 1996, troubleshooting Mac IT issues. Before long, he discovered the powerful capabilities behind the Claris FileMaker products, fell in love with the platform, and founded 360Works. Over the past 30 years, 360Works has branched into dynamic technologies that complement the core FileMaker ecosystem, such as Java, AWS, and NextJS. As the company grew, Jesse took on the mission of finding, training, and empowering new talent. Nearly 100 bright minds have started their careers at 360Works, becoming some of the best next generation industry power players.
Our mission
Our mission statement is a little unconventional. We love delivering software that improves our clients' workflows and their bottom lines. We love the clients we work with, too. Learning the ins and outs of different businesses is one of the parts of this work we enjoy most.
Our mission statement, though, boils down to developer advocacy. 360Works exists to be a place where fledgling developers from all walks of life can come in, do meaningful work, and make a real difference. Not just in their own lives, but in the lives of the people they help.
Our people are what make us who we are.
Our culture
Our cultural approach to business can be summarized by two words: "modern" and "human." We believe that the world is built on people, not on product. And we believe that in order for a business to thrive, it needs to be agile enough to adapt to the rapidly changing world of technology.
Internally, we operate more like a family than coworkers; therefore, collaboration is simply a natural byproduct of us existing within the same space as one another. We believe good work happens when ideas are shared freely, curiosity is encouraged, and every voice is heard.
Our team
People are the beating heart of 360Works. We're a group of nerds, problem-solvers, creative thinkers, AI visionaries, and grounded realists--passionate builders who love what they do. Sometimes new faces come along, and sometimes familiar ones depart, but we have engineered our team to embrace this cycle, and believe that it empowers us to stay fresh and deliver unbeatable value to the community we work with.
We love any opportunity to collaborate with other developers, designers, cloud architects, and all other peers in our circle. Our team may change periodically, but our attitude and approach to work doesn't.
We look forward to including you in our circle as well.
A process that just works.
We believe the development lifecycle should be naturally circular because iteration is the key to great software. Our time-tested process is laid out here in text, but we challenge you to experience it for yourself. We think you're going to love it.
Initial discovery
We take the time to sit down and listen to you. You walk us through the pain points in your current workflow, or lay out your vision for building one from scratch. We take detailed notes and ask the questions that come up. By the end of the conversation, we have a picture of how your business runs and the beginnings of what a better version looks like.
Why teams stay with us.
Extensive project experience
We've delivered projects in as little 2 hours to as long 7 years, and everything in between. Our largest project, for Bernard Hodes Group (the largest placer of classified ads in the world), was installed in twenty-four U.S. and Canadian offices. Some other major projects include software for NASA's ELV (Expendable Launch Vehicle) testing, an image-tracking web application for the U.S. Marines, and a point of sale system for the Titanic Museum.
Fast turnaround
We have a staff of full-time staff working out of our office, each with their own specialties and strengths. This means that we can utilize the collective knowledge of our team to solve your most difficult problems. Because of the size of our team we are almost always able to assign a full-time developer to be dedicated to your project as soon as we get it, which means a faster turnaround for you.
Industry associations
Since becoming one of the first FileMaker Certified developers in 2004, 360Works has cemented its reputation as a leader in the FileMaker community. We are Platinum-level members of Claris Partners and frequent presenters at the FileMaker Development Conference. Because of our relationship with FileMaker, we have access to the most up-to-date industry information – information that might be critical to you. We attend seminars and conferences only available to association members, and have access to top of the line technical support to assist us in solving your most difficult problems.
Responsive, quality support
Everybody's had nightmarish tech support experiences – circular menus, never ending hold-times, or unhelpful representatives in clueless call centers. 360Works takes pride in our support, and we can guarantee responsive, useful support each time you contact us – oftentimes with the developer who wrote the product you're asking about! We enjoy educating users about how best to leverage our products or discussing projects with clients. Test us – email us at support@360works.com.
Project management
From the moment you contact 360Works, you'll be working with a designated project coordinator who will be your liaison with the development team. This means that you will always have a single point of contact who knows all the details of your project, your deadlines, your budget, and your goals.
Training, testing and support
We want to make sure that you get the most benefit possible from our solutions. Deploying a new system to skeptical users can be daunting, and we're happy to answer any questions, develop documentation, or even conduct on-site training to make sure your users are comfortable.
